Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Fender Stratocaster is in very clean condition, with only light aging and wear present on the glossy finish. The body has a various small dents, along with some small chips and dings along the bottom edge of the body. The back of the neck is glossy and smooth.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and the frets are moderately low with mild play wear. The serial number, electronics codes, and "slab" rosewood fretboard date the guitar to 1961. The bottom of the neck heel has "4959" stamped into the wood, under the finish, and the headstock decal is a "transitional era" style. These indicate that the guitar was refinished at the Fender factory sometime between 1964 and 1968.
