Collings 71M Offset Antiqued Fiesta Red w/Mastery
Emerging from a lineage of beloved offset instruments, the 71 Series elevates a classic design with unmistakable Collings craftsmanship and character.
Expressive, Resonant, Free-Flowing. Â Every component of the 71 M works together to create a unique voice and feel. Â Its set-neck coupling forms a unique neck-body connection that, paired with its Mastery bridge and offset vibrato, creates an almost hollow-body-like resonance. Â Vibrations move in a circular dance, giving the 71 M its distinct sense of motion and musicality.
A pair of Lollar pickups, including a Blademaster in the neck and a JM P90 in the bridge, produce a full voice in all three standard pickup positions, with Davies Radio knobs, 250k pots, and Jupiter Vintage Yellow capacitors delivering the volume and tone. Â A pull of the tone knob sends the pickups into series for a humbucker-like boost.
The headstock design creates the ideal break angle without any need for a string guide, ensuring rock-solid tuning stability and even string resonance across the fretboard. The 25 1/2” scale and 10” fretboard radius offer a refreshing evolution in our electric lineup.
