Modifications / Repairs: -Finish touch up applied over a filled screw hole from an installation and removal of a second string tree. -Filled screws holes from a set of non-original tuners on the back of the headstock that have been removed and the original's reinstalled.

Case Details: Original Fender hardshell case. It is in good cosmetic condition with wear along the edges. Electrical tape has been wrapped around the handle.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Jazzmaster is in good cosmetic condition. There is checking, minor dings, dents, and scratches throughout. There are a few minor finish chips along the edges of the body. At one point, there was a second string tree installed for the D and G strings. The tree was removed and the screw hole was plugged and finish touch up was applied. On the back of the headstock, there are plugged holes from where an alternate set of tuners was installed. They have been removed and the originals reinstalled. As a result of the aftermarket tuners, the finish surrounding the circumference of the tuning pegs has chipped and outlines from the metal washers have been imprinted into the headstock.

Serial Number: L20410

Tech Notes: This Jazzmaster plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The truss rod is functional and has room to rotate in both directions. The original frets are thin and display minor wear for their age. Although the pot cods display 1962 dates and the neck stamp displays an "OCT. 63" stamp, this instrument is being dated to 1964 because of the serial number.
