Electronics: Two vintage single coil pickups with three-position switch, a master volume pot, and a master tone pot. The switch, pots, caps, and output jack are non-original. The bridge pickup has been "Seymourized." This is indicated by the sticker placed on the underside of the bridge pickup.

Pickup Measurements: Bridge: 6.4k Neck: 7.0k

Hardware: Original tuners, pickguard, bridge, and saddles. The nut is not original.

Weight: 7lbs 4oz

Modifications / Repairs: -Non-original pots. -Three filled screw holes on the top of the body behind the bridge. -The bridge pickup has been "Seymourized." -Non-original pickup selector switch. -Non-original caps. -Non-original output jack. -Non-original wiring. -Non-original nut. -Non-original strap buttons(originals included in the case).

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Telecaster is in good cosmetic condition for it's age. There is moderate wear preset on the body with finish chipping along the edges of the body, scratches, and checking throughout. The neck shows moderate wear as well with finish wear along the back side of the neck and slight chipping of the "Fender" decal.

Serial Number: 159059

Tech Notes: This Telecaster plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The original frets are tall and show light wear. This Telecaster is being dated to 1966 based on the serial number, cosmetic appointments, and the neck stamp. The dating of this instrument is also proven to be 1966 based off the presence of the "ES" stamp under the pickguard. The "ES" stamp stands for "Enter Special" and was a system utilized by CBS owned Fender in 1966 to signify a special order instrument and was to be painted a custom color.
