Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson mandolin shows very nice aging, with checking and various small chips and dings throughout. There are two large repaired cracks on the sides of the body, as well as repaired separations of the back and sides. There is a repaired crack on the back of the body as well.

Modifications/Repairs: -There are numerous repaired separations of the back and sides of the body -Repaired side cracks near the endpin and on the treble side of the body -Repaired back crack

Serial Number: 84388

Tech Notes: The mandolin plays well with low action, and the original narrow frets are low with moderate play wear. The construction appointments, including the peghead shape, date the mandolin to 1922. The original pickguard has deteriorated.
