Body Material: Maple

Top Material: Maple

Neck Material: Mahogany

Neck Profile: C

Neck Thickness (IN): 1st - 0.73" 12th - 0.87"

Fingerboard Radius: 12.00"

Nut Width: 1-11/16"

Scale Length: 24 3/4"

Pickup Measurements: neck - 6.7 kΩ, bridge - 7.0 kΩ

Hardware: Original hardware.

Weight: 5 lbs 7 oz

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson guitar has aged nicely and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with checking, shallow dings, and light surface scratching throughout. There are four visible filled holes by the bridge pickup where another pickup had previously been installed. The fingerboard binding shows some superficial cracks with age. The edges of the headstock show finish chipping and some chips in the wood at the corners. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age.

Modifications/Repairs: The bridge pickup route has been slightly enlarged (see internal photos) and four holes have been drilled and since refilled around it. This was likely done to accommodate a different pickup at some point. The original pickup has been reinstalled.

Serial Number: 38893

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are medium with moderate play wear. The serial number dates to 1961.

Case Details: Hardshell Case
