Hardware: Although none of the instrument's hardware is original, it is of the correct era and the nut has been replaced. At some point, Grover tuners were installed and because of this, the tuner post holes were enlarged. The Grovers have since been removed and Kluson tuners have been installed.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage ES-335 is in good cosmetic condition with moderate wear. There are dings, dents, scratches, and checks throughout. There are a few small spots of finish touch up.

Modifications/Repairs: -Gibson factory re-neck. -Refret. -1968 electronics and "Pat. No" sticker humbuckers. -Bridge pickup lead replaced. -Hardware is of the correct era but is not original to the guitar. -Tuner post holes enlarged to fit Grover tuners. -Non-original nut.

Serial Number: 91976

Tech Notes: This ES-335 plays well with low action. The frets are tall and show light wear. Originally, this was a 1963 ES-335. For an unknown reason, the instrument was sent back to Gibson in 1968 to be re-necked. In addition to it having a 1968 spec neck being installed, the hardware and electronics from that era were also installed. Furthermore, while at the factory, Gibson re-serialized the instrument with a 1968 serial number.
