Electronics: Original electronics. The guitar has a pair of patent number sticker humbuckers, a three-way selector switch, two volume pots, and two tone pots. The visible pot codes date to 1971.

Pickup Measurements: neck - 7.4 kΩ, bridge - 7.5 kΩ

Hardware: A Bigsby tremolo has been installed, with a hole drilled through the top to secure the Bigsby in place. This hole is drilled through the section of the bigsby that holds the spring and into the top of the guitar. The original tailpiece has been removed and the holes have been plugged. The strap buttons and tuners have been replaced. One of the saddles has been replaced. The knobs have all been replaced.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson guitar is well aged and in good condition. The finish is glossy with extensive checking, some scattered dings and dents, and finish wear throughout. There is heavier finish wear and chipping on the bass side of the lower bout and back of the guitar, and some chips on the neck joint, the back of the neck, and on the treble side of the neck binding. An empty screw hole for a strap button is visible on the back of the guitar near the neck joint. The neck pickup ring is cracked, but this will not affect playability.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are wide and medium height with moderate play wear. The serial number suggests a 1971 date.
