Top Material: Mahogany

Neck Material: Mahogany

Neck Profile: Medium "C"

Neck Thickness (IN): 1st- .82" 12th- .92"

Fingerboard Radius: 12.00"

Pickup Measurements: neck 7.6k ohms bridge b7.3k ohms

Hardware: Original hardware except for replaced bridge (later Gibson Nashville ABR). The original studs and thumbwheels are still in place. In addition, the tuner bushings have been pressed into washers making them appear larger on the face of the headstock. The tuners are original and the holes have never been reamed out for Grovers or other larger bushing tuners (see pics).

Weight: 7 lbs 5 oz

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has light play wear for its age. The finish is glossy with light dents and surface scratches throughout. There is a small run of glue starting at the edge of the nut and running up the back of the headstock. We believe this is due to someone gluing the nut in place. There is no headstock crack or repair. The metal hardware is nicely tarnished with age. There are several small spots of case rash where the finish has reacted with a cable. There is one on the back of the neck opposite the 13th fret and one on the back of the body, bass side upper bout.

Modifications/Repairs: The bridge has been replaced with a later Gibson Nashville ABR. The original studs and thumbwheels are still in place. In addition, the tuner bushings have been pressed into washers making them appear larger on the face of the headstock. The tuners are original and the holes have never been reamed out for Grovers or other larger bushing tuners (see pics). There is a repaired crack at the neck heel that has been finished over after the repair. Only this small area has been refinished/over-sprayed.

Serial Number: 115758

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide with light play wear. The serial number and pots date top 1962.

Case Details: Original hard shell case.
