Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson guitar has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with checking, shallow scratches and dings, and scuffs throughout. The back binding shows a crack at the bass side waist but is stable. A pair of stickers reading "CC" are on the top. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age.
Modifications/Repairs: Multiple loose braces have been reglued. A K&K Pure Mini pickup has been installed and the endpin has been drilled out to accommodate its jack.
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are narrow and medium height with light play wear. The previous owner claims the guitar dates to 1952; by appointments, we are dating it to the early 1950s. The factory order number has faded, making more precise dating difficult.
