Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson guitar has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with extensive checking throughout and numerous chips and dents, mostly around the edges of the body. The top has an empty screw hole near the tremolo tailpiece. Around this hole and the tailpiece are numerous small dings. The pickguard has a small crack at the screw hole on the lower horn. The back of the neck shows some chips in the finish and wood behind the second and third frets. The edges of the headstock are worn, with a chip taken out of the bass side corner. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age.
Modifications/Repairs: The vibrato comb has been removed from the tailpiece and is included in the gig bag; however, the tremolo arm is missing and is not included with the instrument. A set screw on the bridge has been replaced with a Philips head screw. The strap button on the heel of the neck has been replaced.
