The following specs were carefully collected and recorded by a skilled technician. For a more detailed description and questions regarding sound, feel, or cosmetic condition, please call to speak to one of our experts.

Summary

Finish: Original finish throughout. The top appears to have been over-sprayed a long time ago. This was common practice on Martin acoustics. There is a very small finish touchup on a repaired crack on the back of the body.

Body Material: Brazilian Rosewood

Top Material: Spruce

Neck Material: Mahogany

Neck Profile: medium, soft "V"

Neck Thickness (IN): 1st- .80" 10th- .94"

Fingerboard Radius: 16.00"

Nut Width: 1-11/16"

Scale Length: 25 2/5"

Electronics: A passive piezo element pickup has been installed under the bass side of the bridge.

Hardware: Original tuners. The nut, saddle, bridge, bridge pins, pick guard and end pin have been replaced.

Weight: 4 lbs 13 oz

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar is in great condition for its age. There are light scuffs and scratches throughout including light pick wear on the top and light buckle rash on the back.

Modifications/Repairs: This guitar has had extensive repairs done by the Martin factory including moisture treatment/top leveling, fill and plug worn bridge plate, replace bridge, reset neck, heat treat neck, refret, install bone nut, glue loose back braces, glue crack with light touchup, and plek setup. The paperwork detailing these repairs is included with the guitar. In addition, the top of the body has likely been over-sprayed a long time ago. There is a small repaired hairline crack on the back of the body, bass side shoulder that has been lightly touched up. This is stable and not affecting playability. A passive piezo element pickup has been installed under the bass side of the bridge.

Serial Number: 225724

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are narrow with medium height and minimal play wear.
